Even if you’re not a senior this year, it’s not too soon to start daydreaming about a senior trip. If you are a senior, start planning your celebration of surviving high school! Paying for a senior trip can be stressful, so here are some good places that, with some smart saving and planning, won’t break the bank.

California – This is a common one, but even if you don’t go to Disneyland, there’s lots of things to do in California. You can go see some of the biggest, tallest, and most beautiful trees in Sequoia National Park, or go see the many gardens and museums or performances at Balboa Park in San Diego, or even just spend a few days on the beach.

Idaho – Idaho doesn’t sound that amazing, but there’s some amazing places to see if you know about them. Lava Hot Springs is probably the most well-known spot in Idaho for visiting. You can also go and see the Balanced Rock and its surrounding area, as well as go hike and swim around the Sawtooth Mountains, which are beautiful. Stop in Boise on your way there or back for the full Idaho experience.

The Grand Canyon – The Grand Canyon is one of the most famous places around the world. With its astounding views of the carved rock and beautiful night sky, It’s a great place to go spend a few days touring and hiking around. Not too far from the Grand Canyon, you can also go river rafting, which is a great experience.
