From her inclusive personality to her athletic activities, Skyley Brey is a student who does it all. Brey is currently a sophomore at Hillcrest High School. She has been super involved at Hillcrest ever since she started high school. She says, “I’ve been playing softball and cheering for two years now, but I think i like softball better because i love the sport and how much I’ve learned.”

Brey started playing softball her freshman year. “Growing up I’ve always wanted to play,” she states. Her position is second base and outfield. Her dad, Kurt Brey, was asked to coach the softball team after she made the team.

On top of softball, Brey cheers at school. She says she tried out because, “I have been dancing for so long and wanted to more in depth and try something new.” Brey competed at a studio in jazz, lyrical, and hip hop for 10 years before trying out for cheer.

Brey is a busy student athlete and she plans to continue playing softball throughout her high school years and is currently running for junior class president at school.
