Parents try their best to provide all of the necessities needed for their children. Tests and studies have been created across the country in order to try and find a correlation between children and the influence of parents.
Some of the biggest indicators of success come from our parents. In a study done by the Independent Magazine about scientific research on the influence of parents, they say parents of successful children have these 13 things in common.
They make their kids do chores.
They teach their kids social skills
They have high expectations
They have healthy relationships with each other
They’ve attained higher education levels
They teach their kids math early on
They develop a relationship with their kids
They’re less stressed
They value effort over avoiding failure
The mums work
They have a higher socioeconomic status
They are ‘authoritative’ rather than ‘authoritarian’ or ‘permissive.’
They teach “grit”
These life-lessons that can be taught through parents are actually influencing their kid’s success levels. Success isn’t the same for everyone, but parents who are motivated in their kids’ lives are more likely to help them obtain great goals.
