A new documentary was released about Paris Hilton and her experience at a Utah Boarding school.

The multi-billionaire is known for her catchphrase “That’s Hot” And for “The Simple Life” with co-star Nicole Richie.

She then created a dumb-blonde character in the show who people think she still is now. She details her experiences as well as other classmates’ at the boarding school. In Paris’s documentary “This Is Paris” she talks about the other side of the socialite that the public doesn’t know about.

She talks about how she was very present during the club life in her teenage years. Her parents tried to send her to other boarding schools to straighten her out.

Hilton went to Provo Canyon School in Utah at the age of 17 and she disliked the boarding school the most. As she described it, “The worst of the worst.”

She spent a total of 11 months at the boarding school where she took unknown pills, had to take showers in front of staff, spent solitary confinement without clothes, and was abused physically and mentally by staff.

Hilton also says in the documentary that the boarding school has caused her nightmares about the place and she has suffered with insomnia for years now.

Hilton states “The only thing that saved my insanity was thinking about what I wanted to do and who I wanted to become when I got out of there.”

The only comment Provo Canyon School has made in regard to the documentary is on their website.

“We are aware of a new documentary referencing Provo Canyon School (PCS). Please note that PCS was sold by its previous ownership in August 2000. We therefore cannot comment on the operations or patient experience prior to that time,” is the only comment the PCS has made on the website.

Here’s  what some Hillcrest Huskies had to say:

“I saw that there were people posting about it on social media and people posting their experiences and even if it is under new management, it should still be looked into,” said Isabelle Ibarra, a Junior.

A Hillcrest Senior named Brighton Williams stated,

“I think that when someone has a big platform like a celebrity and they come out about something and people who have gone through that, it makes them more comfortable to come out about a traumatic experience.”

A shocked Hillcrest Junior named Jose Larios said,

“I think that new management is bull, like something to cover up if it is true. They should investigate it and take legal action if they

Since the story it came out, Hilton has created a petition to shut down Provo Canyon School.

“The documentary allowed the movement to gain a lot of momentum and I feel it is urgent we capitalize on that. I am working with survivors and advocacy organizations to educate communities, support survivors, and work to enact federal reform.” Hilton has now stated.
