After a year of waiting, The Gunslinger played by Pedro Pascal returns to the screen in season 2 of “The Mandalorian.” On October 30th, 3 am Mountain time, groups of Star Wars fans gathered around their Disney Plus screens with pure exhilaration.

At the end of season 1 of The Mandalorian, audiences were left with many unanswered questions. Where did the dark saber come from? Why is Din Djarin also known as Mando so set on protecting baby yoda? Is the child related to Yoda?

These questions were left unanswered and left a group of many Star Wars fans criticizing the show and its decisions moving forward. Many fans were disappointed about waiting a year for the next episode.

The Mandalorian primarily takes place following the fall of the Empire in Star Wars Episode VI. Mando is a bounty hunter that is hired to hunt down and capture a ¨valuable asset¨ according to the client in episode 2 of season 1. By finding the asset, being famously known as ¨Baby Yoda,¨ Din Djarin is responsible for returning the child for his bounty.

Episode 8 begins with Mando walking through the streets of an abandoned town leading him to ask a close friend of his, Gor Koresh played by John Leguizamo, to where he might find another Mandalorian. This leads Mando back to the famous outer rim planet of Tatooine.

A Marshal, played by Tymothy Olyphant, gave fans a look into Star Wars Episode VI by wearing the armour that once belonged to the famous bounty hunter known around the universe as Boba Fett.

Mando and the Marshal fought alongside the sand people to fight off the Krayt Dragon that had been taking resources from the people of Mos Pelgo, a little village just outside of Mos Eisley. Din Djarin in return for killing the dragon is given the famous armor of Boba Fett.

The Episode ends with a mysterious man looking up at two setting suns of Tatooine, then revealing the face of Boba Fett.

During the beginning of season 2 fans were very excited to have a continuation of the story. They are all looking forward to how it will affect the future franchise of the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian brought many emotions to the table and fans are thrilled to have the gunslinger back.

“I really loved the first episode, in fact, I think it will be better than the last season.” Says Hillcrest student Lizzy Hamilton.

The First episode of season 2 will leave you jumping out of your seat alongside the emotions of happy, sad, and confused waiting time for the second episode.
