Zach Jessop is a singing ninja

Zach Jessop might be the busiest person here at Hillcrest. Besides doing full IB, and being the senior class secretary, Jessop is involved in National Honors Society, Cross Country, Productions Company, and Hope Squad. He also has a 3rd degree blackbelt in taekwondo.

The large variety of activities keeps Jessop busy and ensures his life is never boring.

“I have an extremely wide set of interests and skills and I wanted to be able to use all of them as much as I could, even though I knew I was going to be really busy,” Says Jessop, “And contrary to popular belief, yes, I do sleep.”

Of all of the activities he does, he says Productions Company, which he has been a part of for two years, is his favorite.

“I love being a part of the production company because they have just become like a family to me and I love spending time with them,” he said.

He is also involved in other productions, including this year’s big musical, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

Jessop’s plans don’t end after high school though. Like his older brother ,he wants to serve an LDS mission soon after high school. Then he wants to study wildlife biology at BYU.

“I want to study wildlife biology because I have always loved learning about the natural world.”

Finally, there is one more skill he has that not a lot of people might know about.

Jessop says, “I can ride a unicycle.”
