When you have a sterling scholarship award most colleges offer financial support to the winners, but select colleges offer it to the runner-ups or the nominees. There are 14 colleges in the state of Utah who have this offer. However, finding a college isn’t the hard part; it’s being accepted into the program that’s the tricky part.

However, choosing those scholars and the nomination process is left completely in charge of the school. When you do get picked as a nominee, you have to put together a collage consisting of a project in four categories: Scholarship, Category Scholarship, Leadership and Community Service/ Citizenship which all are worth 20 points. Then finally, you get an interview if you are a semi-finalist and finalist that is also worth 20 points.
