December is a special month at Hillcrest. The Student Body Officers plan a fundraiser to provide service to those in need in our community every year. This year, their fundraiser is to support The Tyler Robinson Foundation, an organization that raises money for pediatric cancer families in need.

As part of this great fundraiser, Hillcrest is hosting a dance! On Saturday night at Hillcrest, get all your friends together and have a fun time at Spontaneous! This dance is combined with Alta and Jordan High schools and is held at 7 o’clock in the small gym.

Michael Young, the Student Body Activities Coordinator said, “In a nutshell, it’s a cheap dance for a good cause. The family we’re supporting is local, and tickets are only $5 per person.”

Ashley Jimenez, the Senior Class President said “Spontaneous is one of the most fun dances of the year! You won’t want to miss it, and you’ll be supporting a good cause.”

Tickets are $5 and all the proceeds go to the Tyler Robinson Foundation. The Hillcrest student body officers are really excited and promise this will be a dance you won’t want to miss.

Stockton Ashby, Student body president is super excited for this dance; He wants everyone to come, saying “The Tyler Robinson foundation is an amazing organization run by amazing people who have helped others in need in so many ways. Remember that the money we make from the dance and the rest of our activities goes straight to them. We hope that you all will support us in our goal of raising $10,000!”

So, if you’re free Saturday night, make sure you go to Spontaneous to have a great time for a great cause!
