“Get down soldier!” Call of Duty isn’t just a video game, it’s a lifestyle. Some people actually play this game for a living. Imagine that, waking up everyday to play a video game for your job. That’s exactly why this game is such a big deal to people.

This year’s new Call of Duty was just recently introduced, April 26, 2017, revealing everything about the game and how it is going to be. Let me tell you, lots of people are very happy with this new game.

Call of Duty has taken a different direction these past few years starting with Advanced Warfare (2014), a game made by Sledgehammer. It introduced jet packs into the game for the first time ever giving it a whole different feel. People were skeptical at first but it turned out to be a big success.

Next, two new games were released, Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare. People were getting very bored with these new Call of Duty with “boots in the air” as it felt to people like this isn’t how it is supposed to be. Call of Duty is suppose to feel like a real life war, and with all these modifications to how war would be like in the future fans would like “boots on the ground.”

This year’s new Call of Duty coming out November 3, 2017 is set in a World War 2 setting. Fans and pro players were very excited to hear that this year they will be delivering what they’ve been asking for, which is “boots on the ground.” The community has spent too much time flying around with jetpacks and other devices.

Many people believe that this will bring Call of Duty back to life. Their sales will go up and so will the number of players will expand. Pro players are excited to hear about this and do believe it will change the future of Call of Duty, Matt “Nadeshot” Haag has said.

Nadeshot is a former pro player who primarily quit because he wasn’t having fun anymore due to the dramatic change to the game he once loved. He talks about his high hopes for this year’s new game in his new Youtube video. He could even make a return to the competitive side due to how he feels about it.

All in all, this year’s Call of Duty will mostly have all the same game modes, campaign, multiplayer, zombies, etc. It’s only a matter of time until the game is released November 3.
