‘Geostorm’ is a movie based on natural disasters. Humans tend to think that natural disasters are a rare occurrence and just go on with their lives not thinking about what might happen in the future. This movie better helped many viewers to understand the possible ways that the world could end and how to prevent our friends and families from getting hurt in natural disasters.

Geostorm was released on October 20,2017. Dean Devin is the main director in the movie. Gerard Butler plays Jake the main character, Abbie Cornish as Saraha, and many more. The film was “Not quite the Geostinker people were expecting, but the outlook was far from favorable,” wrote Chris Hewitt, a critic from Empire.

“The forecast calls for a CGI haze that can’t obscure increasing clouds of laughability, resulting in a Category 4 eye-rolling storm,” wrote Michelle Ordona, a critic at Common Sense Media.

Geostorm is a science/fantasy fiction film. The film is also PG-13. After all the natural disasters threaten the planet. Leaders from around the world create a an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep humanity at bay. The satellites built to protect earth is now attacking it. It’s only a matter of time to fix what’s wrong before the Geostorm takes out the Earth and anything else along with it.

The movie will have you holding your breath while anticipation fills your system. The thrill and excitement will leave watchers on the edge of their seats. The end is also a real plot twister. The movie is similar to ‘2012’ which is also a movie that came out about natural disasters directed by Roland Emmerich. Many strongly recommend this movie. The movie was a first-person point of view, and a limited narrative. The sound was intense and loud which had you thinking you were actually in the movie.

“The movie wasn’t really that great but it was still thrilling enough to keep you watching.” Drea Fregoso said.

“It kind of reminded me of 2012 but this movie had little plot twists to it which kept me interested.” Melissa Arreola mentioned.

The movie is worth the watch and many people seem to enjoy it. The trailer was interesting and bought many people in theaters to watch it. They got what they payed for. Seeing this movie is definitely worth the time.
