The marvel movie “Black Panther” kicks off with the replacement for the new king of Wakanda. Due to his father’s death the Black Panther was rushed to become king and protector of his home Wakanda.

Even though he felt as if he wasn’t ready, he shortly later realized that his father would not have left without preparing him to be the future king.

Wakanda is a kingdom hidden within a nation in Africa with advanced technology. The advanced technology came from what was called  vibranium. The vibranium was not only the source of the Black Panthers great powers, but the reason why they were able to survive till now.

A fun fact about our Black Panther as many of us might know as T’Challa has a tendency to freeze when seeing his girl Nakia. Honestly, some might say that is weird, but I think it was cute and an awesome way to show their chemistry.

Nakia is not your average girl on the sidelines of a Marvel movie who does nothing but wait to be saved, she is a warrior and an awesome fighter who put many males in the movie to shame.

Erik killmonger, one of Wakandas rightful heir to the throne, later comes in and declares war with T’Challa to become king. This was a fight to the death. The fight to see there kings

When T’Challa is faced with war at hand he teams up with CIA agent Everett Ross, the Wakanda special forces, and Dora Milaje to gain power over Wakanda.

This wasn’t your typical Marvel movie. You may ask why and some say there’s not difference, but many say there is because we have a background and more info to work with.

But there’s people like me who think it was an amazing movies because it was more detailed and we weren’t questioning it as much. Senior Sadie Cook said that it was, “So fricking good.I think it was Marvel’s masterpiece not typical and you get the history behind it and I saw Michael B. Jordan.”

This movie honestly made me super excited to see the next one because of the fact that it had a background story and didn’t leave me hanging.

“Wakanda Forever,” as Shuri would say.
