American Horror Story, a show that makes you uncomfortable in the best ways, came out with it’s first episode of season 8. This season is called Apocalypse and it is supposed to be a crossover between the first season Murder House, and the third season Coven.

The first episode opened up with Evan Peters, a regular on AHS, doing a woman’s hair who was trying her hardest to be an Instagram model. They continue talking about hair styles and pressed juice. Sadly, these are some of the most important topics in our society today.

The mood of the scene completely changes as they all receive amber alerts on their phone, warning them of world war 3.The episode goes downhill from there.

One of the reasons AHS is such a popular show today is because most fans get uncomfortable, and it talks about real issues in our society. The world war 3 alerts felt too real to some fans.

“Personally, I think it’s really important to use their popularity to teach people about the world’s real issues,” states Regan Plant, a Junior at Hillcrest. “Although it was extremely spooky.”

The vibes quickly get weirder and weirder after the bombing occurs. Murders, cannibalism, and disease all play a part.

Some AHS fans believe the first episode is a downfall so far, because it has zero relation to Murder House, the first season.

As the season continues, the fans can only hope that it gets better and weirder, as previous seasons have.
